Our budget hosting datacenter
is an excellent choice to host smaller websites and non mission critial
applications. It holds the Adovis Award of Excellency, hosts 8000+
servers, and has six Gigabit ethernet connections to the internet.
Network
The datacenter maintains dual POPs in four major Texas cities. They have
taken fiber from 5 seperate providers for redundancy. Their network consists
of six Gigabit Ethernet connections to the internet plus one DS-3 and one
OC-3.
Security
To guard against line failure or intrusion, the data center is staffed 24
hours a day. Movement throughout the facility is escorted at ALL times.
There is 24 hour closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances.
Between the cameras, access control, and the security team, this place is
pretty secure.
Power
The total incoming power is 480V, which is more than double of what is
required to run the whole datacenter. There is an ATS (Automatic Transfer
switch) in place to automatically kick in the generator in case of power
failure. The datacenter is also equipped with redundant UPS systems to
ensure clean power.
Cooling
Redundant A/C systems, each running at 20% of its capacity, keep the server
room cool. The units are alternated so that each one is kept in optimal
condition.
