Uptime.
The most important consideration in selecting
a Hosting provider is Uptime. There are several web hosting companies who
will sell you web hosting for throw-away pricing. The difference however
comes at the cost of Loss of Customer Satisfaction.

place to ensure greater than 99.999% uptime. Infact our USA premium
hosting datacenter has maintained 100% network uptime for the last 18

Hardware Uptime
All our Server Hardware goes through an extensive hardware burn-in process
at our office, before it is deployed at the datacenter. Each component is
tested using diagnostic software before a server is deployed. Most of
these tests run well over 24 hours and ensure that the hardware components
will not fail when used under peak stress loads. Nevertheless, despite
this, if we do have a hardware failure, we have standard replacement
hardware for ALL components, and a 3 hour replacement guarantee from all
our hardware vendors. We GUARANTEE that unscheduled hardware downtime will
never be greater than 3 hours.
Network Uptime
All datacenters whom we tie-up with have greater than 6 redundant
connections to the Internet. Packet round-trip times and network latency
are part of our SLAs with these datacenters and are tested ongoingly to
ensure consistent performance. Eliteral selects its Datacenters with
utmost care, and as such Network Downtime is minimal. We GUARANTEE that
unscheduled Network Downtime will not be greater than 0.01% in a month (ie
99.99% Network uptime). Infact our USA premium hosting datacenter has had
100% network uptime in the past 18 months, an achievement that very few
Web Hosting Companies can brag about.
Monitoring
We have monitoring systems which check uptime of not just our servers, but
also EVERY service and resource of our servers. If there is ANY alert for
any server (such as a particular service going down, or any problem with
CPU/Memory/Disk utilisation) all our tech support personnel are
immediately alerted in the office. Additionally if this issue is not
resolved within 5 minutes, then the issue is escalated, and SMS alerts are
sent every 5 minutes to everyone including our Management, with the name
of the server, and the problem with that server, until the issue is
resolved. This allows us to detect and resolve any issue within minutes of
it happening.
